Welcome! I’m so glad you’ve taken this important step. I’m here to support you as you work towards your goals and personal growth. Beginning therapy can be both a significant and challenging decision, and I commend you for taking this first step. The hardest part of therapy is often deciding to seek help and scheduling that first appointment, and you’ve already accomplished that!
In therapy, think of yourself as the captain of your own ship, with me as your trusted co-navigator. My role is to navigate alongside you, offering guidance and support as you work towards your goals. I understand that starting therapy can feel both exciting and a little daunting. My goal is to create a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space where you feel comfortable enough to explore your feelings, thoughts, and experiences. Therapy is a collaborative process and my role is to help you navigate through your journey, offering guidance and support along the way.
In our first session, we’ll take the time to really get to know each other and create a comfortable and welcoming space. This is a chance for us to discuss what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to achieve through our work together. Together, we’ll identify and set goals that are meaningful to you.
I know that starting therapy can bring up a mix of emotions, and I’m here to support you every step of the way. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to bring them to our session. Your comfort and trust are my top priorities!
