Who is Louise?
A person who is passionate about healing and advocacy in many areas of my life. An individual like you who has lived, been challenged, and thrived through life. I understand what it is like to be in a place where one feels as if there is nowhere out. I also understand what it is like to forge a path that brought me out to where I can continue to flourish and succeed.
In 2019, I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. However, my passion for mental health encouraged me to tirelessly pursued a career in mental health. I am currently attending the University of South Florida and happily pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work. Social work brings together my love for advocacy and mental health in perfect harmony. I enjoy advocating and supporting others in their path to growth. I believe people don’t have to do it alone and would love for everyone not to walk this journey of life, feeling isolated and fearful. My hope is to help others see, that they have the strength to overcome any challenge life might throw their way, regardless of how difficult it might be.
Outside of school, I am an advocate for mental health and women, a dancer, an amateur baker, and a bullet journal enthusiast. I am a big sister to three younger siblings and a soul sister to many others! I appreciate the undeniable connection between mind, body, and spirit and have strong feelings about my goal to help guide others in their life journies to become their most empowered self.
